About Us
SCOA is a new dependent charter school created by the Lake Elsinore Unified School District to serve K-12 students online. As a dependent charter, SCOA is supported by the full breadth of services provided by the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. SCOA was first opened on August 11, 2011, to provide students with an alternative tuition-free public education.

The Southern California Online Academy licenses curriculum exclusively from K12, Inc.,a best-in-class provider of virtual curriculum and online education services.
